CONCRETE VOILD FILLING AND STABILIZING

GEAUGA COATINGS

Void Filling is the process of replacing dead space or air pockets under slabs where the supporting soil has sunken away from the slab with high performing lifting polyurethane. This material will fill the void and then compress to provide a structural supporting material, re-establishing the integrity of the slab.

Voids and unstable soil can be found anywhere. The most common are under garage floor slabs, driveway slabs at garage entrances, control joint junctions, and under house or building porches. You can easily locate the presence of voids by a hollow sound when the concrete is hit with a blunt object.
