CONCRETE JOINT AND CRACK SEALING
Joint and Crack Sealing is a critical part of concrete maintenance. If the joint is allowed to deteriorate and water and contaminants freely flow into the joint, supporting soil is washed away, compacted, and water will freeze/thaw moving the concrete unpredictably. The freeze/thaw cycle will almost always leave the concrete at a lower elevation than original. This is true unless aggregate and debris can wash into and under the slab while it is heaved.
Geauga Coatings uses high performing joint sealant to fill and seal the joints. If water can not get into and under the slab, the erosion and heaving is prevented.
